Another Bluetooth device can't connect to your phone - Vodafone 553

Cause 2 of 6: Bluetooth visibility isn't turned on on your phone

Bluetooth visibility needs to be turned on on your phone for the other Bluetooth device to find your phone.

Solution: Turn on Bluetooth visibility.

Step 1 of 10

Find "Bluetooth"

Press the Menu key.

Step 2 of 10

Find "Bluetooth"

Press Settings.

Step 3 of 10

Find "Bluetooth"

Press Bluetooth.

Step 4 of 10

Activate Bluetooth

Press Switch on/off to select On.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Activate or deactivate Bluetooth visibility, go to 3a.
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 3b.

3a - Activate or deactivate Bluetooth visibility

Press Visibility.

Step 7 of 10

3a - Activate or deactivate Bluetooth visibility

Press Hidden, Visible for 5 mins or Always visible.

Step 8 of 10

3b - Enter Bluetooth name

Press My device name.
Key in the required name of your phone.

Step 9 of 10

3b - Enter Bluetooth name

Press Done.

Step 10 of 10

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

1 Find "Bluetooth"

Press the Menu key.
Press Settings.
Press Bluetooth.

2 Activate Bluetooth

Press Switch on/off to select On.

3 Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Activate or deactivate Bluetooth visibility, go to 3a.
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 3b.

4 3a - Activate or deactivate Bluetooth visibility

Press Visibility.
Press Hidden, Visible for 5 mins or Always visible.

5 3b - Enter Bluetooth name

Press My device name.
Key in the required name of your phone.
Press Done.

6 Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
