Follow these instructions to set up the phone for picture messaging.

Find "GPRS"

Press the Menu key.

Select authentication type

Press the field below Authorization type.

Press arrow right to select Normal.

Save data connection

Press Done.

Press Yes to confirm.

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Press the messages icon.

Select data connection

Press the field below Data account.

Press GPRS.

Press Vodafone MMS.

Select connection type

Press the field below IP address.

Press HTTP.

Enable proxy

Press arrow right below Use proxy to select Yes.

Enter IP address

Press the field below Proxy address.
Key in 010.024.059.200

Press the field below Proxy port.
Key in 80

Press Vodafone MMS.

Activate or deactivate request for delivery reports

Press Sending.

If you activate request for delivery reports, you will be notified when your message has been delivered. This requires that sending of delivery reports has been activated by the recipient.

Select picture message download in home network

Press Retrieve.

If you select Immediate, you will receive all picture messages when you are in your home network.
If you select Delayed, you are notified before you receive picture messages when you are in your home network.
If you select Restricted, you will not receive any picture messages when you are in your home network.

Press arrow right below Home network to select Immediate.

If you select Immediate, you will receive all picture messages when you are in your home network.
If you select Delayed, you are notified before you receive picture messages when you are in your home network.
If you select Restricted, you will not receive any picture messages when you are in your home network.

Select picture message download when roaming

Press the field below Roaming network.

If you select Delayed, you will be notified before you receive picture messages when roaming.
If you select Restricted, you will not receive any picture messages when roaming.
If you select As home, the setting you selected for your home network also applies to roaming, see step 17.

Press arrow right to select As home.

Press Done.

Press Yes to confirm.

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Find "GPRS"

Press the Menu key.
Press Settings.
Press Connectivity.
Press Data account.
Press GPRS.

Create new data connection

Press Options.
Press Create.

Enter data connection name

Press the field below Account name.
Key in Vodafone MMS and press OK.

Enter APN

Press the field below APN.
Key in mms.vodafone.net and press OK.

Select authentication type

Press the field below Authorization type.
Press arrow right to select Normal.

Save data connection

Press Done.
Press Yes to confirm.
Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Find "Profiles"

Press the messages icon.
Press Settings.
Press Multimedia messages.
Press Profiles.

Enter profile name

Press Create.
Press the field below Profile name.
Key in Vodafone MMS and press OK.

Enter picture messaging server

Press the field below MMSC address.
Key in http://www.vodafone.ie/mms

Select data connection

Press the field below Data account.
Press GPRS.
Press Vodafone MMS.

Select connection type

Press the field below IP address.
Press HTTP.

Enable proxy

Press arrow right below Use proxy to select Yes.

Enter IP address

Press the field below Proxy address.
Key in 010.024.059.200

Enter port

Press the field below Proxy port.
Key in 80
Press Save.
Press Done.
Press Yes to confirm.

Activate picture messaging profile

Press Vodafone MMS.
Press Activate profile.
Press Back.

Activate or deactivate request for delivery reports

Press Sending.
If you activate request for delivery reports, you will be notified when your message has been delivered. This requires that sending of delivery reports has been activated by the recipient.
Press the field below Delivery report.
