You can't send text messages - Vodafone 351

Cause 1 of 5: Fixed dialling is turned on

Fixed dialling allows you to select which numbers your phone can call and send messages to. When fixed dialling is turned on, you can only make calls and send messages to fixed numbers.

Solution: Turn off fixed dialling.

Find "Fixed dialing"

Press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Contacts settings and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Extra numbers and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Fixed dialing and press the Navigation key.

Turn off fixed dialling

Scroll to Mode and press the Navigation key to select Off.

Key in your PIN2 and press the Navigation key.

Press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Contacts settings and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Extra numbers and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Fixed dialing and press the Navigation key.

2 Turn off fixed dialling

Scroll to Mode and press the Navigation key to select Off.
Key in your PIN2 and press the Navigation key.
