You can't start up your phone - Vodafone 252

Cause 2 of 5: The phone lock code is turned on

The phone lock code is used to protect your phone from unauthorised use. If the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be entered every time you turn on your phone.

Solution: Turn off the phone lock code.

Step 1 of 7

Find "Phone lock"

Press the Navigation key.

Step 2 of 7

Find "Phone lock"

Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.

Find "Phone lock"

Scroll to Security settings and press the Navigation key.

Find "Phone lock"

Scroll to Phone lock and press the Navigation key.

Step 5 of 7

Activate or deactivate

Highlight When switch on or Off and press the Navigation key.

Step 6 of 7

Activate or deactivate

Key in the phone lock code (default is 1234) and press the Navigation key to activate or deactivate the phone lock code.

Step 7 of 7

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Scroll to Security settings and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Phone lock and press the Navigation key.

2 Activate or deactivate

Highlight When switch on or Off and press the Navigation key.
Key in the phone lock code (default is 1234) and press the Navigation key to activate or deactivate the phone lock code.

3 Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
