You can't send text messages - Samsung E1200

Cause 1 of 5: Fixed dialling is turned on

Fixed dialling allows you to select which numbers your phone can call and send messages to. When fixed dialling is turned on, you can only make calls and send messages to fixed numbers.

Solution: Turn off fixed dialling.

Step 1 of 7

Find "Fixed dialling mode"

Press Menu.

Find "Fixed dialling mode"

Scroll to Settings and press OK.

Find "Fixed dialling mode"

Scroll to Security and press OK.

Step 4 of 7

Find "Fixed dialling mode"

Scroll to Fixed dialling mode and press OK.

Step 5 of 7

Turn fixed dialling on or off

Highlight On or Off and press OK.

Step 6 of 7

Turn fixed dialling on or off

Key in your PIN2 and press OK.

Step 7 of 7

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

1 Find "Fixed dialling mode"

Press Menu.
Scroll to Settings and press OK.
Scroll to Security and press OK.
Scroll to Fixed dialling mode and press OK.

2 Turn fixed dialling on or off

Highlight On or Off and press OK.
Key in your PIN2 and press OK.

3 Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
