Activate or deactivate key lock - Nokia N8

You can lock the phone keys and display to avoid accidental key presses. Follow these instructions to activate or deactivate the key lock.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Activate or deactivate key lock, go to 1a.
Select setting for automatic key lock, go to 1b.

1a - Activate or deactivate key lock

Press the Key lock key to activate or deactivate the key lock.

You can answer an incoming call without unlocking the keys.

1b - Select setting for automatic key lock

Press the Menu key.

Press Settings.

1b - Select setting for automatic key lock

Press Phone.

Step 6 of 10

1b - Select setting for automatic key lock

Press Display.

Press Screen/keylock time-out.

Drag the indicator to select the required period.

Press OK.

Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.
