You can't check your voice messages - Nokia Lumia 920

Cause 1 of 4: The voicemail number isn't saved in your phone

To listen to your voice messages, you need to save the voicemail number in your phone.

Solution: Save the voicemail number.OR Call 171 to check your voice messages.

Find "settings"

Slide your finger left on the display.
Press Phone.

Select option

Select one of the following options:
Turn use of default voicemail number on or off, go to 2a.
Save voicemail number, go to 2b.

2a - Turn use of default voicemail number on or off

Press the indicator next to Use default voicemail number.
Depending on the current setting, use of default voicemail number is turned on or off.

2b - Save voicemail number

Press the field above Show my caller ID to and key in (prefix) 5 (your phone number)

Step 7 of 7

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Press the indicator next to Use default voicemail number.
Depending on the current setting, use of default voicemail number is turned on or off.

4 2b - Save voicemail number

Press the field above Show my caller ID to and key in (prefix) 5 (your phone number)

5 Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
