There's no incoming call alert - Nokia Lumia 720

Cause 1 of 2: Your phone is set to silent mode

If your phone is set to silent mode, there will be no incoming call alert or message alert when you get a call or a message.

Solution: Turn off silent mode.

Find "ringtones+sounds"

Slide your finger left on the display.
Press Settings.

Find "ringtones+sounds"

Press ringtones+sounds.

Turn silent mode on or off

Press the indicator next to"Ringer" to turn the function on or off.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

Press Settings.

Press ringtones+sounds.
