You can't use tethering - Nokia C3-01

Cause 1 of 2: Your computer or phone hasn't been set up correctly

You need to set up your computer and your phone before you can use tethering.

Solution: Set up your phone for tethering.

Select setting for USB connection

Press Menu.

Press Settings.

Press Connectivity.

Press USB data cable.

Press Nokia Ovi Suite.

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Connect phone and computer

Connect the data cable to the phone socket and to your computer's USB port.

Start the program Nokia Ovi Suite on your computer.

Key in live.vodafone.com

Select Tools.

Select Connect to internet.
An internet connection from your computer via your phone is established.

Press Menu.
Press Settings.
Press Connectivity.
Press USB data cable.
Press Nokia Ovi Suite.
Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

2 Connect phone and computer

Connect the data cable to the phone socket and to your computer's USB port.

3 Set up the computer for tethering

Start the program Nokia Ovi Suite on your computer.
Select Tools.
Select Options.
Select Connect to internet.
Select Use manual settings.
Click the field below Access point.
Key in live.vodafone.com
Select OK.

4 Use tethering

Select Tools.
Select Connect to internet.
An internet connection from your computer via your phone is established.
