No message tone - HTC Desire HD

Cause 1 of 1: The message tone has been turned off

If the message tone has been turned off, there's no message tone when you receive a message.

Solution: Choose message tone.

Press arrow up to access the main menu.

Press Messages.

Press the Menu key.

Activate message notifications

Press Received notification to activate the function.

Activate message notifications

When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated.

Activate message tone

Press Play notification sound to activate the function.

When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated.

Choose message tone

Press Notification sound.

Choose message tone

Press the required message tone to listen to it.

Choose message tone

Press Apply.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

2 Activate message notifications

Press Received notification to activate the function.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated.

3 Activate message tone

Press Play notification sound to activate the function.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated.

4 Choose message tone

Press Notification sound.
Press the required message tone to listen to it.
Press Apply.

5 Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
