I can't use the internet connection on my HMD 2660 Flip Proprietary OS

Cause 1 of 4: Your phone hasn't been correctly set up for internet

Several functions on your phone require an internet connection, e.g. the internet browser, sending of email messages and installing apps.

Solution: Set up your phone for internet.

Step 1 of 20

Find "Access points"

Press the Navigation key.

Find "Access points"

Select the settings icon.

Select Connectivity.

Select Access points.

Create new data connection

Press the Left selection key.

Create new data connection

Select New access point.

Create new data connection

Select Name.

Create new data connection

Key in Vodafone Internet and press the Navigation key.

Enter APN

Select Access point.

Key in live.vodafone.com and press the Navigation key.

Select authentication type

Select Auth type.

Select authentication type

Select Pap.

Enter port number

Select Port.

Key in 80 and press the Navigation key.

Select connection type

Select Advanced settings.

Select connection type

Select Network type.

Select connection type

Select HTTP.

Save data connection

Press the Left selection key.

Save data connection

Select the data connection to activate it.

Return to the home screen

Press Disconnect to return to the home screen.

Press the Navigation key.
Select the settings icon.
Select Connectivity.
Select Access points.

2 Create new data connection

Press the Left selection key.
Select New access point.
Select Name.
Key in Vodafone Internet and press the Navigation key.

3 Enter APN

Select Access point.
Key in live.vodafone.com and press the Navigation key.

4 Select authentication type

Select Auth type.
Select Pap.

5 Enter port number

Select Port.
Key in 80 and press the Navigation key.

6 Select connection type

Select Advanced settings.
Select Network type.
Select HTTP.

7 Save data connection

Press the Left selection key.
Select the data connection to activate it.

8 Return to the home screen

Press Disconnect to return to the home screen.
