Turn use of PIN on or off - BlackBerry Torch 9810

Your PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use. If use of PIN is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to turn use of PIN on or off.

Find "SIM Card"

Press the Menu key twice.

Find "SIM Card"

Press Options.

Step 3 of 10

Find "SIM Card"

Press Device.

Step 4 of 10

Find "SIM Card"

Press Advanced System Settings.

Press SIM Card.

Turn use of PIN on or off

Press the Menu key.

Turn use of PIN on or off

Press Enable Security or Disable Security (depending on the current setting).

Step 8 of 10

Turn use of PIN on or off

Key in your PIN and press Enter.

Step 9 of 10

Exit

Press Disconnect.

Exit

Press the Return key to return to standby mode.

Press Device.
Press Advanced System Settings.
Press SIM Card.

Press the Menu key.
Press Enable Security or Disable Security (depending on the current setting).
Key in your PIN and press Enter.

Exit

Press Disconnect.
Press the Return key to return to standby mode.
