Change PIN - BlackBerry Curve 9360

The PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use. If use of PIN is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to change your PIN.
You need to turn on use of PIN before you can change your PIN. Click here for information on how to turn on use of PIN.

Find "Change PIN Code"

Press the Menu key twice.

Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Device and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Advanced System Settings and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to SIM Card and press the Navigation key.

Find "Change PIN Code"

Press the Menu key.

Scroll to Change PIN Code and press the Navigation key.

Change PIN

Key in your current PIN and press the Navigation key.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. To obtain the PUK, call us on 191 from your Vodafone mobile phone. If you use a landline, call us on 08700 700191 (pay monthly customers) or 08700 776655 (pay as you go customers).

Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Change PIN

Key in a new PIN and press the Navigation key.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. To obtain the PUK, call us on 191 from your Vodafone mobile phone. If you use a landline, call us on 08700 700191 (pay monthly customers) or 08700 776655 (pay as you go customers).

Key in the new PIN again and press the Navigation key.

Press Disconnect.

Press the Return key to return to standby mode.

Press the Menu key.
Scroll to Change PIN Code and press the Navigation key.
