Cause 1 of 6: Bluetooth isn't turned on on your phone

Bluetooth needs to be turned on on your phone before another Bluetooth device can connect to your phone.

Solution: Turn on Bluetooth.

Turn Bluetooth on or off

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.Press the field next to Bluetooth to turn the function on or off.

Exit

Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to standby mode.

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press the field next to Bluetooth to turn the function on or off.

Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to standby mode.
