Cause 2 of 6: Bluetooth visibility isn't turned on on your phone

Bluetooth visibility needs to be turned on on your phone for the other Bluetooth device to find your phone.

Solution: Turn on Bluetooth visibility.

Step 1 of 12

Find "Bluetooth"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press Bluetooth.

Turn on Bluetooth

Press the indicator next to Bluetooth to turn on the function.

Select option

Select one of the following options:
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 3a.
Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off, go to 3b.

3a - Enter Bluetooth name

Press Configure.

Press Edit Name.

3a - Enter Bluetooth name

Press the field below Device Name.
Key in the required phone name.

3a - Enter Bluetooth name

Press and hold space until the keypad is hidden.

Press Back.

Press Back.

3b - Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off

Press Discoverable.

Press Off, On or 2 Minutes.

Exit

Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to standby mode.

1 Find "Bluetooth"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press Bluetooth.

2 Turn on Bluetooth

Press the indicator next to Bluetooth to turn on the function.

3 Select option

Select one of the following options:
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 3a.
Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off, go to 3b.

4 3a - Enter Bluetooth name

Press Configure.
Press Edit Name.
Press the field below Device Name.
Key in the required phone name.
Press and hold space until the keypad is hidden.
Press Back.
Press Back.

5 3b - Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off

Press Discoverable.
Press Off, On or 2 Minutes.

6 Exit

Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to standby mode.
