Cause 2 of 3: Your phone hasn't been correctly set up for text messaging

If your phone hasn't been correctly set up for text messaging, you may not be able to send text messages.

Solution: Set up your phone for text messaging.

Find "More"

Slide two fingers down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press the settings icon.

Press More.

Turn on message function

Press Default SMS app.

Press Messenger.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
