Another Bluetooth device can't connect to your phone - Vodafone 845

Cause 2 of 6: Bluetooth visibility isn't turned on on your phone

Bluetooth visibility needs to be turned on on your phone for the other Bluetooth device to find your phone.

Solution: Turn on Bluetooth visibility.

Find "Bluetooth settings"

Press the menu icon.

Find "Bluetooth settings"

Press Settings.

Find "Bluetooth settings"

Press Wireless & network.

Find "Bluetooth settings"

Press Bluetooth settings.

Activate Bluetooth

Press Bluetooth to activate Bluetooth.

Activate Bluetooth

When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), Bluetooth is activated.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 3a.
Activate or deactivate Bluetooth visibility, go to 3b.

3a - Enter Bluetooth name

Press Device name.

Key in the required name and press OK.

3b - Activate or deactivate Bluetooth visibility

Press Discoverable.

3b - Activate or deactivate Bluetooth visibility

Press Discoverable for 120 seconds, Always discoverable or Hidden.

Exit

Press and hold the Return key to return to standby mode.

1 Find "Bluetooth settings"

Press the menu icon.
Press Settings.
Press Wireless & network.
Press Bluetooth settings.

2 Activate Bluetooth

Press Bluetooth to activate Bluetooth.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), Bluetooth is activated.

3 Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 3a.
Activate or deactivate Bluetooth visibility, go to 3b.

4 3a - Enter Bluetooth name

Press Device name.
Key in the required name and press OK.

5 3b - Activate or deactivate Bluetooth visibility

Press Discoverable.
Press Discoverable for 120 seconds, Always discoverable or Hidden.

6 Exit

Press and hold the Return key to return to standby mode.
