Press the menu icon.

Find "Location & security"

Press Settings.

Find "Location & security"

Press Location & security.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Activate phone lock code, go to 2a.
Deactivate phone lock code, go to 2b.

2a - Activate phone lock code

Press Set unlock pattern.

Press Next.

Press Next.

2a - Activate phone lock code

Press and drag a point to connect at least four points.

Press Continue.
Repeat the selected phone lock code to confirm.

2a - Activate phone lock code

Press Confirm.

2b - Deactivate phone lock code

Press Require pattern to deactivate the phone lock code.

2b - Deactivate phone lock code

Press and drag a point to connect the points in the existing phone lock code.

2b - Deactivate phone lock code

When the box next to the menu item is empty, the phone lock code is deactivated.

Exit

Press and hold the Return key to return to standby mode.
