You can't turn on your phone - Sony Xperia P

Cause 2 of 3: Your phone isn't assembled correctly

If your SIM or battery isn't inserted correctly, you can't turn on your phone.

Solution: Make sure that both SIM and battery are inserted correctly.

Insert SIM

Open the cover on the left side of your phone.
Turn your SIM so that the angled corner is pointing to the top right.

Step 2 of 3

Insert SIM

Slide your SIM into the SIM holder.

Step 3 of 3

Insert SIM

Close the cover again.

Open the cover on the left side of your phone.
Turn your SIM so that the angled corner is pointing to the top right.

Slide your SIM into the SIM holder.

Close the cover again.
