Cause 2 of 2: The ring volume has been set to 0
If the ring volume has been set to 0, there will be no incoming call alert or message alert when you get a call or a message.
Solution: Increase the ring volume.
Find "Ringing volume"
Press the Menu key.
Press Settings.
Press Profiles.
Press the active profile.
Press Personalise.
Press Ringing volume.
Set ring volume
Press the required ring volume.
Press OK.
Exit
Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.
