Twitter is a social network allowing you to write your own and read others' status updates in messages not exceeding 140 characters. The status updates are displayed in your profile and are received by people who follow you. You decide who you want to receive status updates from. Follow these instructions to use the Twitter application.
Before you can use Twitter, you need an Ovi account. If you do not have an Ovi account, you can create one at www.ovi.com

You need to set up the phone for Internet to use this function. Click here to see how.

If you do not want to use the Twitter application, you can use the phone's browser. Open the browser and connect to http://mobile.twitter.com.

Log on

If it is the first time you use the application, you need to log on to Ovi and Twitter.
If you set the phone to save your login details, you do not need to log on the next time.

Press the Twitter icon.
Follow these instructions to use Twitter.

Press the home icon.

Press What's happening?.
Press the field and key in the required status update.

Press Tweet.

View friends' status updates

Press the home icon.
You can find the status of your friends next to their names.

Press the reply icon.
Read replies to your status updates.

Press Compose.
Press the field and key in the required text.

Press Add Friend to select a recipient.
Press the required friend.

Press the home icon.

To upload a saved picture:
Press Photo(s) from Gallery.

Press the required picture.
When a picture is ticked (V), it is selected.
