Cause 2 of 5: The message centre number is incorrect

The message centre ensures that your text message is sent to the recipient. If the wrong message centre number is saved in your phone, the text message can't be sent.

Solution: Enter the correct message centre number.

Find "Centre name"

Press Menu.

Press Messaging.

Find "Centre name"

Press Msg. settings.

Press Text messages.

Press Message centre.

Press Centre name.

Save the message centre number

Key in Vodafone SMS and press OK.

Key in +35387699989 and press OK.

Press Save.

Enter the message centre number

Press Back.

Turn request for delivery reports on or off

Press General settings.

Turn request for delivery reports on or off

Press Delivery reports.

Turn request for delivery reports on or off

Press Embedded, Show note or Off.

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

1 Find "Centre name"

Press Menu.
Press Messaging.
Press Msg. settings.
Press Text messages.
Press Message centre.
Press Centre name.

2 Save the message centre number

Key in Vodafone SMS and press OK.

3 Enter the message centre number

Press Msg. centre no..
Key in +35387699989 and press OK.
Press Save.
Press Back.

4 Turn request for delivery reports on or off

Press General settings.
Press Delivery reports.
Press Embedded, Show note or Off.

5 Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
