You can't turn on your phone - HTC One V

Cause 2 of 3: Your phone isn't assembled correctly

If your SIM or battery isn't inserted correctly, you can't turn on your phone.

Solution: Make sure that both SIM and battery are inserted correctly.

Remove the back cover

Turn the back of your phone towards you.
Slide the back cover downwards and lift it off.

Insert your SIM

Place your SIM as illustrated next to the SIM holder.

Insert your SIM

Slide your SIM into the SIM holder.

Replace the back cover

Place the back cover on your phone and slide it upwards until it clicks into place.

Turn the back of your phone towards you.
Slide the back cover downwards and lift it off.

Place your SIM as illustrated next to the SIM holder.
