You can't make voice calls - HTC Desire HD

Cause 8 of 9: You've turned on manual network selection and the selected network isn't available

If you've turned on manual network selection, you must be in range of the selected network to make a call.

Solution: Turn on automatic network selection.

Find "Network operators"

Press arrow up to access the main menu.

Find "Network operators"

Press Settings.

Find "Network operators"

Press Wireless & networks.

Step 4 of 10

Find "Network operators"

Press Mobile networks.

Press Network operators.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Select network manually, go to 2a.
Select network automatically, go to 2b.

2a - Select network manually

Press Search networks.
After a moment the phone searches for networks within range.
A list of available networks is displayed.

Step 8 of 10

2a - Select network manually

Press the required network.
After a moment the display shows whether you have access to the selected network. If you don't have access to the selected network, it's because your operator doesn't have a roaming agreement with the operator in question.

2b - Select network automatically

Press Select automatically.

Step 10 of 10

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

2 Choose option

Choose one of the following options:

5 Exit
