A Google account gives you access to a number services in the device such as Gmail, Android Market and Picasa. Follow these instructions to activate a Google account in the phone.
You need to set up the phone for Internet to use this function. Click here to see how.

Find "Google"

Press arrow up to access the main menu.

Press Settings.

Press Accounts & sync.

Start activation

Press Next.

To create a new account: press Create. Follow the instructions on the display to create a new account.

Activate Google account

Press Username and key in the username for your Google account.

Press Password and key in the password for your Google account.

Press Finish setup.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Press Password and key in the password for your Google account.
Press Sign in.
Press Next.
Press Finish setup.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
