You can't turn on your phone - HTC 8S

Cause 2 of 3: Your phone isn't assembled correctly

If your SIM or battery isn't inserted correctly, you can't turn on your phone.

Solution: Make sure that both SIM and battery are inserted correctly.

Step 1 of 4

Remove the back cover

Turn the back of your phone towards you.
Slide the back cover downwards.

Step 2 of 4

Insert your SIM

Place your SIM as illustrated next to the SIM holder.

Insert your SIM

Slide your SIM into the holder until it clicks into place.

Step 4 of 4

Replace the back cover

Place the back cover on your phone with a small opening at the top and slide it upwards.

Turn the back of your phone towards you.
Slide the back cover downwards.

Place your SIM as illustrated next to the SIM holder.

Slide your SIM into the holder until it clicks into place.
