Set date and time - BlackBerry 9720

Read help info

It's important that the date and time are correct as some phone functions won't work. In most cases, date and time are set automatically but alternatively you can set them manually.

Find "Date and Time"

Press the Menu key twice.

Turn on automatic date and time update

Press Update Time.

If you want to set the date time manually, you need turn off automatic date and time update and press Set Time and Set Date.
Follow the instructions on the display to set the date and time manually.

Press Automatic.

If you want to set the date time manually, you need turn off automatic date and time update and press Set Time and Set Date.
Follow the instructions on the display to set the date and time manually.

Turn on automatic time zone update

Press Auto Update Time Zone.

If you want to set the time zone manually, you need to turn off automatic time zone update and press Time Zone.
Follow the instructions on the display to set the time zone manually.

Turn on automatic time zone update

Press On.

If you want to set the time zone manually, you need to turn off automatic time zone update and press Time Zone.
Follow the instructions on the display to set the time zone manually.

Save settings

Press the Menu key.

Return to the home screen

Press Disconnect.

Press the Return key to return to the home screen.

Press the Menu key twice.
Press Options.
Press Display.
Press Date and Time.

Press Update Time.

Save settings

Press the Menu key.
Press Save.

Return to the home screen

Press Disconnect.
Press the Return key to return to the home screen.
