You can't receive voice calls - BlackBerry 8520 Curve

Cause 1 of 3: Barring of incoming calls is turned on

You can block all incoming calls or incoming calls when abroad. If one of these call barring types is turned on, incoming calls are diverted to your voicemail or another number.

Solution: Turn off call barring for incoming calls.

Step 1 of 11

Find "Call Barring"

Press Connect.

Step 2 of 11

Find "Call Barring"

Press the Menu key.

Find "Call Barring"

Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.

Step 4 of 11

Find "Call Barring"

Scroll to Call Barring and press the Navigation key.

Cancel all call barrings

Highlight one of the following options:
Incoming If Roaming below Block Incoming Calls

Cancel all call barrings

International Calls below Block Outgoing Calls

Step 7 of 11

Cancel all call barrings

Int'l Not On Home Network below Block Outgoing Calls

Step 8 of 11

Cancel all call barrings

Press the Navigation key.

Step 9 of 11

Cancel all call barrings

Scroll to Disable and press the Navigation key.

Step 10 of 11

Cancel all call barrings

Key in the barring password (default is 0000) and press the Navigation key to deactivate call barrings.
Repeat until all call barrings have been deactivated.

Step 11 of 11

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

1 Find "Call Barring"

Press Connect.
Press the Menu key.
Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Call Barring and press the Navigation key.

2 Cancel all call barrings

Highlight one of the following options:
Incoming If Roaming below Block Incoming Calls
International Calls below Block Outgoing Calls
Int'l Not On Home Network below Block Outgoing Calls
Press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Disable and press the Navigation key.
Key in the barring password (default is 0000) and press the Navigation key to deactivate call barrings.
Repeat until all call barrings have been deactivated.

3 Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
