Activate or deactivate your own caller identification - BlackBerry 8520 Curve

You can make a call without sending your own number (caller identification). Follow these instructions to activate or deactivate your own caller identification.

Find "General Options"

Press Connect.

Find "General Options"

Press the Menu key.

Find "General Options"

Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to General Options and press the Navigation key.

Activate or deactivate

Highlight the drop down list next to Restrict My Identity and press the Navigation key.

Please note: it is only possible to hide your caller identification for voice calls. When you send text messages, the number is shown to the recipient whether caller identification is activated or deactivated.

To activate caller identification:
Scroll to Never and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Always and press the Navigation key.

Press the Menu key.

Press Save.

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Find "General Options"

Press Connect.
Press the Menu key.
Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to General Options and press the Navigation key.

Activate or deactivate
