I can't send and receive picture messages on my Alcatel 1 Android 8.1 (Go edition)

Cause 3 of 5: Data roaming is turned off

To send and receive picture messages when abroad, data roaming needs to be turned on.

Solution: Turn on data roaming.

Find "Mobile network"

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Find "Mobile network"

Press the settings icon.

Press Network & connection.

Press Mobile network.

Turn data roaming on or off

Press the indicator next to "Data roaming" to turn the function on or off.

Turn data roaming on or off

If you turn on data roaming, press OK.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

1 Find "Mobile network"

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Press the settings icon.

Press Network & connection.

Press Mobile network.

2 Turn data roaming on or off

Press the indicator next to "Data roaming" to turn the function on or off.

If you turn on data roaming, press OK.

3 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
