You can't start up your phone - Vodafone 455

Cause 2 of 5: The phone lock code is turned on

The phone lock code is used to protect your phone from unauthorised use. If the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be entered every time you turn on your phone.

Solution: Turn off the phone lock code.

Step 1 of 6

Find "Security"

Press the Menu key.

Step 2 of 6

Find "Security"

Press Settings.

Step 3 of 6

Find "Security"

Press Security.

Step 4 of 6

Activate or deactivate

Press Activate phone code to select Off or On.
Key in the phone lock code (default is 1234).

Step 5 of 6

Activate or deactivate

Press OK.

Step 6 of 6

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

2 Activate or deactivate

Press Activate phone code to select Off or On.
Key in the phone lock code (default is 1234).
Press OK.

3 Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
