Copy contacts between phone and SIM card - Nokia N8

You can copy contacts between the SIM card and the phone. This is useful if you change phone or SIM card as it saves you keying in all the information again. Follow these instructions to copy contacts between the SIM card and the phone.

Find "Contacts"

Press the Menu key.

Press Contacts.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Copy contacts from the SIM card to the phone memory, go to 2a.
Copy contacts from the phone memory to the SIM card, go to 2b.

2a - Copy contacts from the SIM card to the phone memory

Press Options.

Step 5 of 14

2a - Copy contacts from the SIM card to the phone memory

Press SIM numbers.

Step 6 of 14

2a - Copy contacts from the SIM card to the phone memory

Press Copy all to phone.

Step 7 of 14

2a - Copy contacts from the SIM card to the phone memory

Press Yes to confirm.

2b - Copy contacts from the phone memory to the SIM card

Press Options.

Press Mark/Unmark.

Press Mark all.

2b - Copy contacts from the phone memory to the SIM card

Press Options.

2b - Copy contacts from the phone memory to the SIM card

Press Copy.

Press SIM memory.

Step 14 of 14

Exit

Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.

Find "Contacts"

Press the Menu key.
Press Contacts.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Copy contacts from the SIM card to the phone memory, go to 2a.
Copy contacts from the phone memory to the SIM card, go to 2b.

2a - Copy contacts from the SIM card to the phone memory

Press Options.
Press SIM numbers.
Press Copy all to phone.
Press Yes to confirm.

2b - Copy contacts from the phone memory to the SIM card

Press Options.
Press Mark/Unmark.
Press Mark all.
Press Options.
Press Copy.
Press SIM memory.

Exit

Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.
