Turn GPS on or off - BlackBerry Q10

Your phone can determine your geographical position using GPS (Global Positioning System). The information about your location can be used by a number of applications on your phone such as navigation, the search function or weather forecast.

Find "Location Services"

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top edge of the display.
Press Settings.

Find "Location Services"

Press Location Services.

Turn GPS on or off

Press the indicator next to "Location Services" to turn the function on or off.

If you turn on GPS, you give permission to use your GPS position.

Turn use of GPS position for apps on or off

Press the field below "Application Permissions".

Press Permissions.

Press All.

Return to the home screen

Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom edge of the display to return to the home screen.

Find "Location Services"

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top edge of the display.
Press Settings.
Press Location Services.

Turn GPS on or off

Press the indicator next to "Location Services" to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on GPS, you give permission to use your GPS position.

Press the field below "Application Permissions".
Press Permissions.
Press All.
Press the required app.
Press the indicator next to "GPS Location" or "Location" to turn the function on or off.

Return to the home screen

Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom edge of the display to return to the home screen.
