Cause 2 of 3: Your phone hasn't been correctly set up for internet access

If the internet settings in your phone are incorrect, you can't access the internet.

Solution: Set up your phone for internet access.

Find "Access Point Names"

Press the menu icon.

Press Settings.

Find "Access Point Names"

Press Wireless & networks.

Press Mobile networks.

Find "Access Point Names"

Press Access Point Names.

Create new data connection

Press the Menu key.

Create new data connection

Press New APN.

Enter data connection name

Press Name.

Enter data connection name

Key in Vodafone Internet and press OK.

Enter APN

Press APN.

Step 11 of 24

Enter APN

Key in live.vodafone.com and press OK.

Step 12 of 24

Enter country code

Press MCC.

Step 13 of 24

Enter country code

Key in 272 and press OK.

Step 14 of 24

Enter network code

Press MNC.

Step 15 of 24

Enter network code

Key in 01 and press OK.

Step 16 of 24

Select authentication type

Press Authentication type.

Step 17 of 24

Select authentication type

Press PAP.

Step 18 of 24

Select APN type

Press APN type.

Step 19 of 24

Select APN type

Key in default and press OK.

Step 20 of 24

Save and activate data connection

Press the Menu key.

Step 21 of 24

Save and activate data connection

Press Save.

Save and activate data connection

Press the field next to Vodafone Internet to activate the data connection.

Save and activate data connection

When the field next to the data connection is marked, it's activated.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

1 Find "Access Point Names"

Press the menu icon.
Press Settings.
Press Wireless & networks.
Press Mobile networks.
Press Access Point Names.

2 Create new data connection

Press the Menu key.
Press New APN.

3 Enter data connection name

Press Name.
Key in Vodafone Internet and press OK.

4 Enter APN

Press APN.
Key in live.vodafone.com and press OK.

5 Enter country code

Press MCC.
Key in 272 and press OK.

6 Enter network code

Press MNC.
Key in 01 and press OK.

7 Select authentication type

Press Authentication type.
Press PAP.

8 Select APN type

Press APN type.
Key in default and press OK.

9 Save and activate data connection

Press the Menu key.
Press Save.
Press the field next to Vodafone Internet to activate the data connection.
When the field next to the data connection is marked, it's activated.

10 Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
