Follow these instructions to select GPS settings.

Find "Location Settings"

Press the Menu key twice.

Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Device and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Location Settings and press the Navigation key.

Select setting

Highlight one of the following options:
Location Services, go to 2a.

Location Data, go to 2b.

Location Aiding, go to 2c.

Press the Navigation key.

2a - "Location Services"

Highlight Location On or Location Off and press the Navigation key.

If you turn on this function, your phone can find your exact position using GPS. If you turn off the function, you can't use any GPS functions on your phone.

2b - "Location Data"

Highlight Enabled, Disabled or Disabled While Roaming and press the Navigation key.

If you turn on this function, you allow the GPS service provider to save information about your GPS position to improve the service.

2c - "Location Aiding"

Highlight Enabled, Disabled or Disabled While Roaming and press the Navigation key.

If you turn on the function, your phone can find your approximate position using the network. This is useful if you don't have a GPS satellite fix.

Save and exit

Press the Menu key.

Scroll to Save and press the Navigation key.

Press Disconnect.

Press the Return key to return to standby mode.

Scroll to Location Settings and press the Navigation key.

Select setting

Press the Navigation key.

2a - "Location Services"
