Cause 2 of 6: The phone lock code is turned on

The phone lock code is used to protect your phone from unauthorised use. If the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be entered every time you turn on your phone.

Solution: Turn off the phone lock code.

Step 1 of 11

Find "Password"

Press the Menu key.

Step 2 of 11

Find "Password"

Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.

Find "Password"

Scroll to Password and press the Navigation key.

Step 4 of 11

Activate or deactivate

Highlight the drop down list next to Password and press the Navigation key.

Activate or deactivate

Highlight Enabled or Disabled and press the Navigation key.

Save setting

Press the Menu key.

Scroll to Save and press the Navigation key.

Enter phone lock code

If the phone lock code is activated:
Key in an optional phone lock code and press the Navigation key.

Enter phone lock code

Key in the same password again and press the Navigation key.

Enter phone lock code

If the phone lock code is deactivated:
Key in the phone lock code and press the Navigation key.

Step 11 of 11

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Scroll to Password and press the Navigation key.

2 Activate or deactivate

Highlight the drop down list next to Password and press the Navigation key.
Highlight Enabled or Disabled and press the Navigation key.

3 Save setting

Press the Menu key.
Scroll to Save and press the Navigation key.

4 Enter phone lock code

If the phone lock code is activated:
Key in an optional phone lock code and press the Navigation key.
Key in the same password again and press the Navigation key.
If the phone lock code is deactivated:
Key in the phone lock code and press the Navigation key.

5 Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
