There are a number of different text input settings. The most important settings are described in the following steps.
Choose one of the following options:

The following steps describe how to use the different keypad types when word suggestion is turned on.

2a - Select keypad type
Press the keypad icon.
Android keyboard is a keypad with one letter on each key.
Swype is a keypad where you slide your finger across the keys instead of pressing the keys.

2b - Add a language
Press the keypad icon.
The selected language determines which characters are available and the language used for word suggestion.

To select writing language for the Swype keypad:
Press Settings below Swype.

2c - Select writing language
To select language for the Swype keypad:

Press the letter keys to write the required word.

To key in numbers or symbols:
Press ?123.

Press ABC to return to text input.
3b - Use Swype keypad
Press the first letter of the required word and slide your finger, without lifting it, across all the letters in the word.
Lift your finger after the last letter.
A number of words based on the letters you've keyed in are displayed.

Press the required word to insert it.
To key in a number or symbol:
Press and hold the key with the required number or the key with the required symbol until the number or symbol is displayed.

Press 123.
