There's no incoming call alert - Samsung Galaxy Tab

Cause 1 of 2: Your phone is set to silent mode

If your phone is set to silent mode, there will be no incoming call alert or message alert when you get a call or a message.

Solution: Turn off silent mode.

Activate or deactivate

To activate silent mode:
Press the lower part of the Volume key until the silent mode icon is displayed.

Activate or deactivate

To deactivate silent mode:
Press the upper part of the Volume key to select the required ring volume.

To activate silent mode:
Press the lower part of the Volume key until the silent mode icon is displayed.

To deactivate silent mode:
Press the upper part of the Volume key to select the required ring volume.
