Select text input settings
There are a number of different text input settings. The most important settings are described in the following steps.
Choose one of the following options:
Select writing language, go to 2a.
Activate or deactivate predictive text, go to 2b.

2a - Select writing language
Press the settings icon.
The selected language determines which characters are available and which language that is used for predictive text.
Press Input languages.

To use the default language:
Press Use system language to activate the setting.

When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated.

To select another language:
Press Use system language to deactivate the setting.

When the box next to the menu item is empty, the function is deactivated.

2b - Activate or deactivate predictive text

If you activate predictive text input, word suggestions are displayed when you key in the first letters.
Press Android keyboard settings.

Write text
This step describes how to write text when predictive text input is activated.
Press once on each letter to write the required word.

If required, slide your finger right or left on the word suggestion bar to see more suggestions.
