Cause 2 of 6: Bluetooth visibility isn't turned on on your phone

Bluetooth visibility needs to be turned on on your phone for the other Bluetooth device to find your phone.

Solution: Turn on Bluetooth visibility.

Find "Bluetooth Connections"

Press the Menu key twice.

Press Options.

Press Networks and Connections.

Turn on Bluetooth

Press Discoverable.

Press No, 2 Minutes or Yes.

Press del to delete the current name.
Key in the required name.

Press the menu item to turn the function on or off.

2 Turn on Bluetooth

Press Bluetooth.
Press On.

3 Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off

Press Discoverable.
Press No, 2 Minutes or Yes.

4 Select settings

Press the Menu key.
Press Options.
Press one of the following options:
Device Name, go to 4a.
Allow Outgoing Calls, go to 4b.
Contacts Transfer, go to 4c.
LED Connection Indicator, go to 4d.
Encryption, go to 4e.
Connect On Power Up, go to 4f.

When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

10 4f - "Connect On Power Up"

Press the menu item to turn the function on of off.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

11 Save and exit

Press the Menu key.
Press Save.
Press Disconnect.
Press the Return key to return to standby mode.
