Activate or deactivate call waiting - BlackBerry 9800 Slider

When call waiting is activated, you can hear and answer a new incoming call while you are on the phone. Follow these instructions to activate or deactivate call waiting.

Find "Call Waiting"

Press Connect.

Find "Call Waiting"

Press the Menu key.

Step 3 of 10

Find "Call Waiting"

Press Options.

Step 4 of 10

Find "Call Waiting"

Press Call Waiting.

Step 5 of 10

Activate or deactivate

Press Call Waiting Enabled.

Activate or deactivate

When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated.

Save and exit

Press the Menu key.

Press Save.

Press Disconnect.

Press the Return key to return to standby mode.

Press Options.
Press Call Waiting.

Activate or deactivate

Press Call Waiting Enabled.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated.

Save and exit

Press the Menu key.
Press Save.
Press Disconnect.
Press the Return key to return to standby mode.
