You can't make voice calls - BlackBerry 8520 Curve

Cause 4 of 12: Flight mode is turned on

If flight mode is turned on, you can't make or receive calls.

Solution: Turn off flight mode.

Step 1 of 4

Find "Manage Connections"

Press the Menu key.

Step 2 of 4

Find "Manage Connections"

Scroll to Manage Connections and press the Navigation key.

Step 3 of 4

Activate or deactivate

Scroll to Mobile Network and press the Navigation key to activate or deactive flight mode.
When the box next to the menu item is unticked, flight mode is activated.

Step 4 of 4

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Press the Menu key.
Scroll to Manage Connections and press the Navigation key.

2 Activate or deactivate

Scroll to Mobile Network and press the Navigation key to activate or deactive flight mode.
When the box next to the menu item is unticked, flight mode is activated.

3 Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
