Use Twitter - BlackBerry 8520 Curve

Twitter is a social network allowing you to write your own and read others' status updates in messages not exceeding 140 characters. The status updates are displayed in your profile and are received by people who follow you. You decide who you want to receive status updates from. Follow these instructions to use Twitter.
Before you can use Twitter, you need to install Twitter. Click here to see how.

Furthermore, you need to set up the phone for Internet. Click here to see how.

You also need a Twitter profile. If you do not have a profile, you can create one at www.twitter.com.

If you do not want to use the Twitter application, you can use the phone's browser. Open the browser and connect to http://mobile.twitter.com.

Press the Menu key.

Scroll to Twitter and press the Navigation key.

Log on

If it is the first time you use the application, you need to log on.
If you set the phone to save your logon details, you do not need to log on the next time.

You can now use the application.

Write status updates
View status updates from people you follow
View messages sent directly to you
Select application settings

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
